Just trace and cut your fabric oval, and sew a running stitch around the seam allowance. Place your Perfect Oval in the center and pull the thread tight to gather your fabric around the template, then apply sizing, press, and snip your gathering thread to remove the template- voila, a perfect oval ready to be appliquéd!
