PRYM Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant

Fray stop is a colourless liquid that prevents stressed areas; such as seams, collars, cuffs and button holes; from fraying by reinforcing the fibres. Fray Check can be applied to the edge of the curves, which are then conveniently cut before turning and without fraying.
This sealing solution gives rolled seams a stable finish. It can even be use to provide a fray-free seal to the edges of self-cut fabric motifs. Only after multiple washes can the effect of the fibre-reinforcing liquid can lightly subside. This treatment can be repeated as often as desired. Ideal for Applique and Embroidery.

These koki are made by QH Textiles. They are perfect for finishing your boro bag, komebukuro rice bag or other pouch. They are attached to the top of the bag and the cording is then threaded through the holes. This replaces the need to add separate cord casing or tabs.
The koki can be attached by crimping the ends shut. The little teeth grip the fabric. It is easiest to crimp the koki shut using pliers. Be sure to place a fabric scrap between the koki and the plier ends to prevent the koki from getting scratched.
