This quilt is full of cupcakes and party hats, monkeys doing cartwheels, ducks being wild and free, cats soaring the skies, elephants enjoying time with their favourite friends, tea parties, bunches of flowers, and of course happy shoes ready for a happy dance, not to mention…..sunshine and lollipops!!

    The whole quilt is bordered with triangles to represent a garland …something that I always associate with joy. You could fussy-cut some images where there is something in particular to encapsulate in the fabric, and in other areas, you can stitch a little circle stitchery to add to the circle theme running through the quilt.

    There are 6 parts to this quilt, all with needle-turn applique, machine piecing and some stitchery, and just a little English paper piecing.
