It also has a pin and needle holder and a smaller pocket for needle packets or other sewing needs. It is up to you as to how heavily you would like it decorated, but my case has images on the front, on the pocket and on the inside flap…I love finding more imagery as I unfold my case.

Sunshine & Lollipops is a quilt with a theme of celebration, fun and whimsy.This quilt is full of cupcakes and party hats, monkeys doing cartwheels, ducks being wild and free, cats soaring the skies, elephants enjoying time with their favourite friends, tea parties, bunches of flowers, and of course happy shoes ready for a happy dance, not to mention…..sunshine and lollipops!! The whole quilt is bordered with triangles to represent a garland …something that I always associate with joy.
You could fussy-cut some images where there is something in particular to encapsulate in the fabric, and in other areas, you can stitch a little circle stitchery to add to the circle theme running through the quilt. There are 6 parts to this quilt, all with needle-turn applique, machine piecing and some stitchery, and just a little English paper piecing.
