This Bella Arcs & Beauties FPP Expansion Pack is designed specifically to be used as a companion pattern to the Bella Quilted Coat.
It includes FPP (Foundation Paper Piecing) patterns and instructions for Flying Geese Arcs that radiate outward from the center back and are designed to be used on the back panel using contrasting or gradient colors. Additionally, Flying Geese Beauties of a smaller scale geometrically mirror on each of side of the coat front.
Round out the design trifecta pattern bundle with the Bella Quilted Coat and the Bella Accent Sleeves FPP Expansion Pack which are available separately.

The Bella Hood Expansion Pack is designed as a companion to the Bella Quilt Coat. The Bella Hood Expansion Pack offers two versatile Hood options to elevate both function and style. If you’re creating a new Bella Quilt Coat, the Attached Hood replaces the collar for a clean, integrated look — modern and beautifully tailored.
- There’s no zipper guard in this style, allowing the separating zipper to rest just below the neckline for maximum comfort and a polished finish.
The Removable Hood can easily be added to a new, or existing, Bella Quilt Coat so you can adapt your style at any time.
- ByAnnie’s Tool-Free Snaps attach the hood in three secure locations, making it easy to add or remove whenever you like.
- On a new coat, the zipper guard may be omitted, allowing the collar greater flexibility to fold down beautifully at the neckline.
Both Hood designs feature a refined hood’s refined three-piece construction that delivers exceptional shape, contour, and fit—so it feels as good as it looks. Like the Bella Quilt Coat, the Bella Hood features your choice of two standard views:
- View A is created from contrasting fabric on both sides of the hood and a coordinating fabric, or FPP for the center panel to really make a statement.
- View B is a classically-styled quilted hood that showcases a single outer main fabric for the sides of the hood, and the center panel.
- Both views feature a single lining fabric, and just like the Bella Quilt Coat, there are no raw edges. The hood is fully lined.
For additional creative possibilities … Pair both the Attached and Removable Hood styles with the Bella Accent Sleeves FPP Expansion Pack (sold separately) to transform the center hood panel with striking foundation paper piecing details.

This relaxed fit quilted jacket is available in ten sizes. It is fully lined and features set-in sleeves, inseam pockets, a zippered front closure with guard, and a sporty collar that is stylish and functional. Choose from two views and get creative styling your coat with appliqué, foundation paper piecing, or blockwork.
View A includes a decorative yoke on the front and back, as well as a contrasting collar. Accent Sleeves are optional and may be added to either view.
